Shelly Woodward was born and raised in a small community in Ohio. She is the mother of two daughters and a son, and has three grandchildren. Battling depression since losing her best friend at age 16, Shelly married at 19 and divorced 9 years later with two small children in tow. When her second husband crashed the family Jeep in a drunk driving crash with their son inside, Shelly found purpose in her pain by speaking for MADD and the military. Now divorced from her second husband, Shelly imparts hard-earned wisdom about learning how to be alone and have the best life ever.
